AI Assistant Disclaimer

Last Updated: August 24, 2026

Please read this important disclaimer about the nature and limitations of FlickerFaith's AI assistant.

1. Nature of This Tool

FlickerFaith is an AI-powered application that provides information about the Bible and Christian faith. It is a computer program — it does not possess consciousness, a soul, or spiritual discernment. It has been designed with knowledge of Scripture and Christian teachings but lacks the understanding of faith as experienced by believers.

2. Limitations and Spiritual Guidance

If you are in crisis, this is not the place

FlickerFaith is not an emergency service, a crisis line, or a suicide-prevention resource, and no human is monitoring your conversation in real time. If you are in danger, thinking about harming yourself or someone else, or facing a medical or safety emergency, please stop and reach a person who can help right now.

You are not a burden, and you are worth the call. An AI cannot sit with you, pray with you in person, or get help to your door. A person can.

3. Biblical Interpretation

4. Accuracy and Content

5. Privacy and Data

6. Faith and Technology

7. No Warranty and Assumption of Risk

8. Hold Harmless

By using FlickerFaith you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless FlickerFaith and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, agents, licensors and suppliers from any claim, demand, liability, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use or misuse of the Service, any action you take in reliance on it, your breach of our Terms of Service, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

The full disclaimer, limitation of liability and indemnification terms are set out in Sections 6, 8, 9 and 10 of our Terms of Service, which govern in the event of any conflict with this page.

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." — Proverbs 3:5

FlickerFaith is a supplementary resource for exploring Christian faith and Scripture. It does not replace the Bible, prayer, church community, or personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
